Valeriy Dubil: ”It is necessary to systematically solve the problems of the military at all levels – for this purpose, ”Batkivshchyna” has created a new inter-factional association”
During his visit to the Kherson region, Valeriy Dubil, Deputy Head of the Batkivshchyna party and Head of the Kyiv City Organization, emphasized the need for comprehensive support for Ukrainian service members.
“Our team has been supporting the military for a long time, so we are well aware of the problems they face. This includes delays in payments, low salaries, difficulties with rotations, vacations, and dismissals, as well as a lack of transparency in the activities of military hospital commissions, lengthy decision-making processes, and the absence of affordable psychological support, housing, and employment opportunities. It is impossible to solve these issues locally – we need to work comprehensively at all levels,” Valeriy Dubil emphasized.
The deputy noted that regular trips to the front, of which Valeriy Dubil’s team has already made more than 270, as well as the party’s active work on the ground, helped to identify several problems regarding which the newly created inter-factional association undertook to protect the rights of veterans, combatants, and their families.
“Activists of the Kyiv branch of “Batkivshchyna” constantly interact with servicemen, veterans, and families of fallen heroes. This is work that we do at various levels. Thanks to this, we can convey their needs to the deputies for a legislative solution. I hope that the new inter-faction association will be able to unite those deputies who want change,” said Volodymyr Starovoyt, head of the Obolon district organization of “Batkivshchyna.”
As it became known, the head of the newly created inter-faction association, Yulia Tymoshenko, has already held the first meeting, at which the deputies outlined the main areas of their activity: payments, psychological rehabilitation, issues related to the Volodymyr Leninist Communist Party, housing, employment, and social guarantees.
