Bezugla advocated for the mobilization of women: “This should have been done a long time ago.”

Mariana Bezugla, a deputy from the Servants of the People party, emphasized the importance of involving women in mobilization activities, particularly at defense enterprises and in logistics support. She stated that it is impossible to win a war if you work “half-heartedly.” Therefore, it is essential to utilize all available human resources, including those of women.

In the context of discussing the role of women in mobilization activities, Bezugla noted that it is not about their massive involvement on the front but rather about their participation in logistical and production processes that support the army.

To date, the mobilization of women in Ukraine is not yet mandatory; however, specific categories, such as medical workers and communications specialists, are already subject to military registration. According to Bezugla, it is time to review existing approaches and expand the list of positions that women can hold within the framework of defense mobilization.

In the context of the war with Russia, this issue is being discussed more and more actively. Bezugla emphasized that the participation of women is essential for the effective functioning of defense structures.

She also previously touched on the topic of guilt regarding the death of a young man from Russian shelling, stating about “karma for evading service.” It is worth noting that everyone was waiting for news from the rescue operation, and the public expressed condolences to the family of the deceased.

In addition, Ms. Bezugla called for more active mobilization, noting that those who evade service may be punished.
