Kateryna Lozovytska: how winning “The Bachelor” changed her life and opened the way to influencership
Is it possible to stay true to yourself when thousands of people pay attention to you every day? Kateryna Lozovytska — a model, winner of “The Bachelor-12” and a popular influencer — reveals in the new episode of “SHOE podcast” how her life changed after participating in the show, why Instagram became her profession and how she approaches choosing brands for cooperation.
According to Kateryna, participation in the project was the beginning of a new stage. After winning, she received significant support from the audience, which she considers “the biggest gift of the project.” She managed to avoid negative comments, and she admits that she mentally prepared herself for criticism; however, she found herself surrounded by positivity instead.
“I didn’t go to the project for popularity. I was looking for new experiences and acquaintances. Everything that happened after was a pleasant surprise,” she recalls.
Despite the attention, Kateryna does not consider herself a “star.” She is grateful for the support but tries to maintain internal balance: “When you know yourself well, external assessments do not hurt.”
Discussing influence, Lozovytska notes that this is a very real job that requires creativity and responsibility. Creating content involves not only taking photos but also planning, communication, analysis, and honesty with the audience.
She chooses brands for cooperation very carefully. Among the “red flags” are empty accounts, aggressive communication, and dubious products. She refuses casino advertising and, if in doubt, returns the funds, as was the case with a suspicious page that offered to advertise household appliances.
“It is important for me not to lose trust. This is the basis of everything,” she emphasizes.
Kateryna is also engaged in business, works as a model, and does not pin all her hopes only on Instagram. She is convinced that even if the platforms disappear, she will always find a new way. Blogging has become a choice for her, allowing her to remain true to herself, share her experiences, and inspire others.
She also shares her thoughts on the modeling business, which initially attracted her with ambitions but, over time, disappointed her with some illusions. Kateryna notes that the fashion industry often prefers non-standard appearance and traditional beauty is not always the main advantage.
Lozovitskaya candidly discusses her struggles with self-perception. Only over time, having moved away from the strict requirements of the industry, she was able to accept herself.
“To withstand publicity, you need to know yourself and respect your boundaries,” she says.
Kateryna admits that attention is a privilege but, at the same time, a burden. You need to learn to live with this, setting healthy boundaries and remembering that behind every page on Instagram, there is a living person.
