Prolonged enemy attacks near Zelenaya Dolyna: Ukrainian military resists offensive

Fierce fighting is underway on the front near Green Valley. Enemy forces are attempting to break through, but the Ukrainian defenders are putting up decent resistance.

According to analysts from the DeepState project, the situation in the eastern part of the country, specifically in the Green Valley area of the Donetsk region, is challenging. The enemy is exerting increased pressure on Ukraine’s defensive positions from Hrekivka to Torske, attempting to identify weak spots in our lines and dislodge our troops.

Russian units are using the tactics of mass infantry attacks. They are advancing through fields and landings, paying little attention to their losses, and are willing to spend a considerable amount of time advancing, even over short distances.

However, the enemy’s advance in this area is not rapid. It is due to constant pressure, regular attacks, and significant losses. Russian assault groups are acting cautiously, sometimes spending several hours to overcome only a few hundred meters.

It is also reported that the occupiers are using “invisibility cloaks” designed to provide camouflage during movement. DeepState has previously mentioned this technology, in particular in the context of the battles for Luhansk.

In addition, the enemy is actively using FPV drones, which are used not only to attack Ukrainian positions but also to detect supply routes. This complicates the provision of our troops and the deterrence of the enemy on the front line.

Despite the difficult circumstances, Ukrainian soldiers continue to defend their positions. The defense forces are taking all necessary measures to deter the enemy and are attempting to improve their tactical position by retaking lost territories.

In the Pokrov direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are also actively restraining the enemy offensive. The village of Popiv Yar was defended, but fighting in this area continues.
