A CCC employee killed a mobilized man by brutally torturing him with an electric shocker and hitting his head on the floor while transporting him to the collection point.

A military serviceman of the Central Military District brutally beat a mobilized resident of Kyiv who could not be accepted into a military unit. As a result of the injuries received, the man died. According to the “Sudovo-Yurydychna Gazeta”, this happened based on the materials of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv.

According to the information, on May 7, law enforcement officers of the Central Military District detained a man who was wanted. He passed a military medical commission, which declared him fit for service, and he was sent to a collection point in the Darnytskyi district of the capital.

Later, on May 8, the man was sent to a training center, but he was not accepted due to revealed health problems, in particular alcohol addiction and injuries. After that, he was returned back to Kyiv and on May 9 was included in a new group of mobilized people who were sent to a training center in the Lviv region. However, he was again not accepted there and returned to the capital.

On the way back to Kyiv, a senior military officer allowed the soldiers to stop to buy food and drinks, and the man bought an energy drink containing alcohol. While drinking it, he began to conflict with the CCC representatives, which led to aggression from one of the soldiers, who began to beat him.

The court records show that the soldier hit the man in the face several times, and after he fell, the psychological pressure continued – he was beaten with a stun gun, hit on the floor, and kicked in the head and chest. All these actions occurred despite the inaction of the officers accompanying the group.

When the bus arrived in Kyiv, the same soldier pulled the beaten man by the legs and threw him onto the asphalt. Medics who were called to the scene pronounced him dead, finding a combined head and chest injury, multiple rib fractures, and internal organ damage.

The soldier is suspected of abuse of power with the use of violence, for which he faces 8 to 12 years in prison. The court decided to take the suspect into custody at the guardhouse for 60 days.
