Poland deports Ukrainians: who is on the ‘black list’

In the Silesian Voivodeship of Poland, the deportation processes of foreigners who have violated local laws have been intensified. Among those subject to deportation are a significant number of Ukrainian citizens convicted of various criminal offenses.

According to the Polish edition Wiadomosci, these are people who have been found guilty of robbery, domestic violence, drunk driving, and causing serious bodily harm.

Some of these individuals have already been escorted to the border. After deportation, they are usually banned from re-entering the Schengen area, which can last up to ten years, depending on the severity of the crime.

According to official data, since the beginning of the year, 127 decisions on the deportation of foreigners have been made in Silesia. These decisions were made by local administrations on the basis of court verdicts in cooperation with the border guard service.

Polish authorities emphasize that their actions are not directed against specific nationalities, but are aimed at individuals who deliberately ignore the country’s laws. Law enforcement officials emphasize that ensuring security is a priority for local communities.

These events may serve as a reminder to Ukrainian citizens in Poland of the importance of adhering to the law and maintaining a positive image of the Ukrainian diaspora.
