Росія скасовує мораторій на наземні ракети середньої та малої дальності

Russia lifts moratorium on medium- and short-range ground-based missiles

The Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that the country no longer feels obligated to adhere to a moratorium on the deployment of medium- and short-range land-based missiles. The department emphasizes that the policy of the “collective West” undermines security in the region, and therefore, Russia is forced to respond with appropriate measures.

As noted in the official statement, the conditions that previously allowed for a unilateral moratorium are no longer in force. Representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry point out that the actions of Western countries are leading to the creation of missile systems in neighboring regions that may threaten Russia’s national security.

The ministry believes that such steps pose a “direct threat to security” and disrupt the strategic balance of power in the world.

In addition, Russia emphasizes that these actions may cause risks not only at the regional but also at the global level, increasing tensions between nuclear powers and stimulating further escalation of conflicts.

Additional news about events in the region will be updated later…

It is also interesting to learn about the situation in the Odessa region, where a military man directed enemy missiles at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
