How to get a contract for the position of drone operator in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: list of units 18-24

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the approval of the list of units and positions where unmanned systems operators will be able to serve in the military under the “Contract 18-24” program. This decision significantly expands the choice of units for young volunteers.

The relevant orders, signed by the Chief of the General Staff, allow citizens to serve in 46 military units specializing in unmanned technologies. The ranks of these units include, in particular, the 414th separate brigade of strike unmanned aviation systems “Birds of the Magyar”, the 20th separate regiment of unmanned systems “K-2”, the 427th regiment “Rarog”, and the 429th regiment “Achilles”.

As stated in the message of the Ministry of Defense, the project, which covers various military branches, now also includes units of the Special Operations Forces and Support Forces. A full list of units, along with instructions for completing a service application, can be found on the official portal of the “Contract 18-24” program.

In addition, the General Staff approved a list of 32 positions related to the operation of drones. Among them are operators of tracked and wheeled robotic complexes, operators of combat and special aircraft UAVs, as well as FPV drones.

These changes significantly expand the opportunities for young specialists who wish to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine and specialize in modern unmanned aviation technologies.
