Unsuitable, but registered: how Ukrainians with Reserve+ can resolve the paradoxical status

Users of the Reserve+ mobile application often encounter confusion due to the numerous statuses in their profiles, which may seem incompatible. For example, you can receive a mark of “Unfit”, but at the same time remain “Conscripted” and “On the register”. What does this mean?

This can be explained as follows: this status is temporary and indicates that your unfitness has not yet received final confirmation from the military medical commission (VLK). As military lawyers note, if the case passes the district VLK, it is then sent for approval to the state or central VLK – and this process can take up to six months. Thus, until the decision is approved, the system leaves you in the status of “On the register” and adds a mark of “Unfit”.

What happens next? After the VLK approves the documents, they are sent to the territorial recruitment center (TCK). It is the CCC that decides to exclude you from military registration, while the VLK only determines your suitability or unsuitability.

If the status in your Reserve+ profile appears unclear, for example, in the PDF document, and the “reason for unsuitability” column is empty, it is essential to contact application support. You can use the “I should not be registered” button to send a request to correct the information.

Do not worry about unclear statuses – this is not a final decision, but only the first stage of a bureaucratic process that can take a long time. The main thing is to be attentive to updates and correct inaccuracies promptly.
