“I wrote my first children’s song when I was 4 or 5”: Jerry Heil impressed her followers with a touching childhood photo

Jerry Heil touched her fans with an archival childhood photo and shared memories of the beginning of her musical career.

The singer posted a childhood photo and elements from one of her performances on Instagram. In the post, she talked about how her musical adventure began.

According to her, she was already enrolled in a music school at the age of three. “My parents wanted me to be accepted at 2, but they refused,” she recalled. The girl wrote her first song when she was 4 or 5.

At the age of 12, Jerry Heil began improvising on the piano, trying to disguise the invention as a learned melody. “I learned to improvise to keep my parents in the dark that I hadn’t learned the piece, playing my own composition instead,” the artist shared. At the same age, she composed her first piano piece.

Studying at a music school, which she “loved terribly”, inspired Jerry Heil to continue her education. Since the competition in the vocal department was great, she decided to enter the choir and conducting department at Glier College. “It was a good decision. The choir department gave me more knowledge: theory, solfeggio, harmony, conducting”, she noted.

At the age of 15, the singer realized she had a dream of writing music for films, and soon entered the conservatory’s composition department. However, two years later, she unexpectedly left her studies to pursue a career as a blogger. “And then we meet with you”, – noted Jerry Heil.

The artist emphasized that she has been singing for 27 years and that the dream of music for films accompanies her every day. Now she is preparing a new stage in her creativity: “Already with LOVE ME HARD, you felt that I was preparing something special”.
