The state will allocate 200 thousand “lifters”: who is eligible for funding

The state has developed a new financial initiative aimed at attracting workers to remote villages, small towns, and border communities, which have long suffered from a shortage of specialists. Under this program, individuals who sign a contract and work in such places for at least three years will receive a one-time payment of 200 thousand hryvnias.

This initiative provides not only material support but also significant assistance to those who are ready to move and change their lives. The government promises that this payment will be only part of a wider package, which also includes assistance in finding housing, compensation for utilities, and additional social benefits.

The primary goal of the program is to address the shortage of personnel in communities that cannot function normally without them. Due to the lack of qualified specialists, many villages and small towns have long had essential infrastructure facilities out of operation, forcing residents to travel long distances to receive basic services.

The program is scheduled to launch this year, and interested parties will be able to apply through local authorities.
