Fire in Lviv region brought under control: 50 rescuers worked for about six hours
On August 16, 2025, rescue units in the Lviv region spent over five hours extinguishing a fire at a wood processing facility located in the Yavoriv district.
According to information provided by the State Emergency Service (SES), the fire broke out in a one-story metal building covered with sheet metal. Fifty rescuers participated in the fire extinguishing, working to localize and completely extinguish the fire.
At present, the cause of the fire has not yet been established. There is no information about the victims or the damage caused.
This incident was one of several fires that have occurred recently in the Lviv region; rescuers continue to combat fire incidents in the area actively.
