SBU has announced suspicion of the former head of one of the fake ministries of the “LPR” group
The Security Service of Ukraine has presented evidence regarding a person who actively cooperated with the Russian occupiers as part of the “LPR government”.
According to information from the SBU press service in the Luhansk region, it was established that a woman who lived in temporarily occupied Luhansk, from the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression, supported the invaders and held senior positions in the occupation “Ministry of Economic Development of the LPR”. She performed the duties of a “deputy minister”, participated in the creation of illegal authorities, and implemented a “ruble zone” in the occupied territory.
This person was declared a national wanted person for participation in a terrorist organization in accordance with Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In September 2024, the woman voluntarily took the “position” of Acting Minister of Economic Development of the “LPR”, but in March of the following year, she was removed from this “ministerial position”.
Currently, SBU investigators have informed her in absentia of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaborative activities). Investigative actions are ongoing with the participation of the SBU Main Directorate in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the control of the Luhansk Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
At the same time, in the occupied city of Svatovo, the invaders announced that from January 1, 2026, they plan to transfer the housing of displaced persons to third parties.
This concerns the so-called “nationalized” property – apartments and houses of people who were forced to leave their homes due to hostilities. The occupation administration demands that the owners return to the city, receive Russian-style documents, and re-register their real estate.
