A 26-year-old electric locomotive driver received six red diplomas and will be included in the Ukrainian Book of Records
On September 1, 2025, a unique event will take place in Kyiv, which will be recorded by the National Register of Records of Ukraine. This was announced by the head of the register, Lana Vetrova, on her Facebook page. The main event of the Knowledge Day will be the announcement of the record of Yuriy Vereshchaka, a resident of Kharkiv, who holds the most significant number of diplomas with honors in the field of higher education in Ukraine.
The 26-year-old electric locomotive driver achieved six red diplomas with honors, all of which were obtained in specialties related to the transport industry.
Yuriy Vereshchaka received diplomas with honors from the following educational institutions:
1. Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport – “Railway Transport”;
2. Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport – “Quality, Standardization and Certification”;
3. V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University – “Public Management and Administration”;
4. Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology — “Transport Technologies”;
5. National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” — “Technical Maintenance of Aircraft and Aircraft Engines”;
6. National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts (Paris, France) — “Manager of High-Speed Railway Systems”.
Yuriy explains his achievement as the result of a personal challenge. He notes: “When you set maximum goals for yourself, you get maximum results. I set a super goal for myself — to receive all diplomas with honors. It was a kind of ‘challenge’ for myself”.
