Online subsidies: from September, who can receive assistance without leaving home?

From September 1, Ukrainians will have a unique opportunity to apply for social benefits online, which will significantly simplify the process for those who need state support.

Now, to apply for social benefits, you do not need to visit the service centers of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. Applications can be submitted online using electronic services. This step indicates progress in the digitalization of social services, as citizens previously spent a significant amount of time in queues submitting paper documents.

It is also worth noting that from July 1, 2025, the Pension Fund of Ukraine will be responsible for calculating 39 types of state benefits, including compensation and social scholarships. This new system is essential for veterans, people with disabilities, large families, and other groups who need quick access to assistance.

It will be possible to submit documents through the fund’s electronic services web portal using various authorization methods: using a qualified electronic signature, “Diya”, an electronic pension certificate, BankID, or a login and password that can be obtained at the service center.

In addition, it will be possible to sign documents using an electronic signature that meets the requirements of the new system. The signature key can be obtained from both public and private authorized institutions.
