Service recovery after a power outage

Soldiers who left their military unit on their own have the opportunity to return to service. Detailed instructions for carrying out this process have appeared via the Army+ application.

You can resume service by August 30, provided that the conscripts first left their units by May 10, 2025.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine provided this information.

The department explained what steps need to be taken to return from the NWCH via Army+:

First, you need to submit a return report via the application.

Add a letter of recommendation from the unit that is ready to accept the soldier.

Within 24 hours after approval, you need to appear at the nearest branch of the Military Law Enforcement Service, and from there, at the reserve battalion.

Within 72 hours, the battalion commander must restore payments and social guarantees.

After that, you need to submit a report on changing the place of service again via Army+, selecting the reason “Returning to service after the NWCH”. It is also necessary to attach a letter of recommendation, a military document with the current position, and a certificate confirming the first passing of the SZCH, which is provided by the VSP representative in the battalion.

Automatic extension of deferments will appear in Reserve+.

The Ministry of Defense is actively working on launching the function of automatic extension of deferments from mobilization through the Reserve+ application.

This opportunity will apply only to deferments that were issued online, since they can be extended automatically.

For those who cannot use electronic services, the option of personal visits to territorial centers will remain available. However, it is planned to minimize their number in the future, provided that prior online registration is completed.

It is also worth noting that, from March 1, new criteria for booking conscripts will be introduced.
