The situation at the border for men aged 18-22

In Ukraine, a Cabinet of Ministers resolution came into effect on August 28, allowing men under the age of 22 to travel abroad. The first cases of departure have already been recorded at the border, but there is no significant congestion.

This was reported by Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, during the broadcast.

He noted that to cross the border, young men need to have only two documents:

A foreign passport;

A military registration document (can be either paper or electronic via the “Reserve +” application, both options have the same legal force).

“It is worth noting that this rule does not apply to persons holding public positions in government bodies or local self-government – they can travel only on business trips,” Demchenko emphasized.

General mobilization is underway in Ukraine, and the “Reserve+” application is also operating, allowing conscripts to update their data, receive military registration documents, and check their status.
