Яна Моріс поділилась про свої перші кроки, сумніви та джерела натхнення в акторстві

Jana Morris shared about her first steps, doubts and sources of inspiration in acting

Jana Morris chose acting despite the opportunity to become an accountant. In conversation with us, she shared her creative way.

From an early age, Jan felt a craving for the stage. She recalls:

“The creative component has always been part of my life. I have performed on stage for three years, visited dance and vocal circles, so I was passionate about art.”

But after graduation, she still had to decide on a profession.

“I was looking for a sphere that would allow me to experience many ‘lives’ and, at the same time, show my creativity. The only one was acting,” she said.

This decision stunned her loved ones.

“On the day of ZNO, my mother asked about my plans for the future. Then, for the first time, I said with confidence, ‘I will be an actress’. Mom just smiled and replied: ‘ya, everything is just beginning. ‘”

However, the family insisted on the plan.

“We agreed that I would join the Academy of Water Transport in the specialty ‘Accounting and Auditing’. It was to be a reserve in case the acting career did not work,” Yana recalls.

However, despite this, she actively moved toward the goal.

“Studying at the Academy, I enrolled in three-month courses at the Karpenko-Kary University, and later became a master of acting in KNUKIM. For a girl from a small town in Kili, this became a big challenge.”

Yana is convinced that the university is just one of the possible ways in the profession.

“The diploma itself does not make you an actor. Theatrical education lays the basics and discipline, but the true strength of the actor is formed inside – in the ability to feel and capture the essence.”

She also advises young actors to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

“Education gives the tools, but a real fire only appears during a performance on stage or while shooting. It is then that the actor is formed.”

In addition to professional skills, she said, the actor should work on all aspects of his own development.

“It is both emotional intelligence and psychological stability. Plastic, voice, and creativity are equally important. The modern actor must be able to present himself, especially in conditions where social networks have become an integral part of the profession.”

The most important thing is to preserve humanity.

“Only one who is aware of the depth of human nature can reproduce it truthfully,” the actress emphasizes.

Her style was shaped by her life experiences and interactions with diverse people.

“Every interaction and challenge formed me as an actress. My teachers and stars of world scale, who are striking with their reincarnation, also played a significant role. This is the truth that I seek to show in my game.”

Finally, Jan advises young people who dream of the scene:

“Do not look for easy solutions – they are not. Acting requires the strength of spirit, discipline, and an open heart. Start small, watch people, read, watch quality movies, and try your hand. And do not try to be like someone. The world needs new actors – with your own truth and uniqueness.”
