The expert revealed what security guarantees will be able to get Ukraine from the US because of powerful rear support

In his blog, the expert shared the proposals demanded for the formation of a demilitarized zone, which should be included in the agreement between Ukraine and Russia. This zone will be protected by patrols of states ready for a peacekeeping mission. It is assumed that the military on both sides should retreat at least 10 km, which will create a demilitarized area with a total length of 20 km or more.

The expert notes that after the establishment of this area, a defense line should be formed, which will be protected by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and receive support from partners. This line will also undergo training in Ukraine and NATO countries. The third line of defense will be foreign military forces, acting under the command of the coalition, primarily the French and British militaries. Their presence should serve as a deterrent to the enemy, preventing further aggressive actions.

In addition, the expert drew attention to the possibility of increasing the number of US F-35 aircraft in Romania, which should also strengthen the protection of Ukrainian airspace.

According to the expert, the Financial Times reports that the US plans to provide significant rear support to Ukraine in the form of supplying modern weapons and air defense systems, including additional Patriot and NASAMS complexes. It may be a THAAD system that can intercept powerful ballistic missiles, which are considered reliable, as in the case of Israel, or the AEGIS system in Poland.

The expert summarizes that the Financial Times publications refer to the possibility of establishing a faultless area.

It is worth noting that the expert recently said that Ukraine does not need to obtain permission from the Pentagon to attack the territory of Russia, as the country actively assumes the development of its own missile program.
