ATES confirmed the strike on the oil depot in Luhansk, while the refinery in Ryazan and the plant in Yeltsin are burning at the same time

On the night of September 4-5, Ukrainian military forces carried out successful strikes on key Russian military and industrial facilities, in particular in the territory of occupied Luhansk.

Both Ukrainian and Russian news channels confirm the fact of the attack.

In particular, Ukrainian forces struck an oil depot at 60 Rudnyova Street in Luhansk, where a massive fire broke out after the explosions, accompanied by a prolonged detonation of ammunition. It is known that this oil depot supplied fuel to the 41st and 20th combined arms armies of Russia. Ukrainian partisans of the ATESH movement confirmed participation in the operation. The fire was so bright that it could be seen from different corners of the city at night.

At the same time, drones attacked a local oil refinery in Ryazan, Russia, as a result of which a fire broke out there with thick black smoke. This is the third attack on this refinery in 2025, which significantly reduced its production capabilities.

The Energia plant in Yeltsin, Lipetsk region, which produces batteries and accumulators for military equipment, was also attacked again. Local sources report explosions and damage to production facilities; the work of the enterprise is currently suspended, and the extent of the destruction is still being clarified.

Thus, Ukrainian forces have inflicted significant blows on several essential facilities, which led to substantial losses for the enemy in the areas of logistics and military production.

It is known that the largest oil producer in the Russian Federation, Rosneft, reported a noticeable decrease in revenue: in the first half of 2025, the company received only a third of its profit compared to last year.
