Зеленський провів паралель між атакою дронів у Польщі та анексією Криму в 2014 році

Zelensky drew a parallel between the drone attack in Poland and the annexation of Crimea in 2014

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has compared Russia’s recent actions to the situation in Crimea in 2014, underlining the threat to the entire European continent.

At a joint press conference with Finnish President Alexander Stubb on September 11, Zelensky said that the Russian drone attack on Poland was deliberate and planned. He noted that the drones now play the same role as the “little green men” in Crimea.

According to the President, Russia, in cooperation with Minsk, is conducting military exercises and building up its armaments, which threatens not only Ukraine but also Europe as a whole. He emphasized the need to take decisive measures that will seriously limit Moscow’s military capabilities.

“Of course, we were carried away by the analysis of the attack that took place against Poland. In my opinion, about twenty drones were sent specifically. We have a detailed analysis of the trajectories and designs of the drones used by Russia. All this indicates that their actions were planned and cannot be considered random,” he noted.

Zelensky also recalled that joint military exercises with Russia have already begun in Belarus. The Ukrainian military is monitoring the movement of military equipment and the development of infrastructure in preparation for offensive actions. The president called on the international community to take decisive action, focusing on the fact that Russian aggression threatens not only Ukraine.

The foreign ministers of Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine sharply condemned the recent drone attack on Polish territory, stating that this is a deliberate provocation that poses a threat to the region.
