The head of Lviv BEB Andriy Kozyuk owns a large amount of real estate and understates its value in declarations
Andriy Kozyuk, head of the Territorial Department of the Bureau of Economic Security in the Lviv region, indicated in his 2024 declaration that he had a significant amount of real estate. He may be underestimating its market value. This information can be verified through his tax declaration.
Andriy Kozyuk’s real estate
The official registered several objects in Lviv:
An apartment with an area of 55 sq. m., purchased in 2015 for 867 thousand UAH;
An apartment with an area of 40.9 sq. m., purchased in 2022 for 654 thousand UAH (possible underestimation of the value);
A basement with an area of 1.6 sq. m., acquired in 2015, without specifying the value.

Most of the real estate is registered in Andriy’s wife’s name:
An apartment with an area of 41.5 sq. m., purchased in 2014 for 252 thousand UAH (also indicated underestimation of value);
Apartment with an area of 110.1 sq. m, purchased in 2014 for 252 thousand UAH (apparent underestimation of value);
Housing with an area of 68.8 sq. m, purchased in 2023 for over 1.1 million UAH;
Apartment with an area of 39.7 sq. m, purchased in 2024 for 833 thousand UAH;
Basement with an area of 6.4 sq. m, purchased in 2014 for 7.5 thousand UAH;
Non-residential premises with an area of 5.6 sq. m, purchased in 2023 for 95 thousand UAH.
In addition, since 2008, Iryna Kozyuk has had a share in a land plot with an area of 16,296 sq. m in the village of Buda, Lviv region. The other part of the plot belongs to Nadiya Zherebetska, probably her sister. In the declaration, the value of this plot is estimated at 4.5 thousand UAH, which clearly does not correspond to the market price.
Car and family income
Andriy Kozyuk does not own a personal car, but he uses a 2014 BMW 328i, which is registered in his wife’s name. The car was purchased in 2023 for 268,000 UAH, while its market value is approximately 400,000 UAH.
Over the past year, Andriy declared only 797 UAH of salary and 29 thousand UAH of income from domestic loan bonds. Unlike her husband, Iryna Kozyuk received more than 1.4 million UAH from her entrepreneurial activities, which included managing a restaurant in Lviv.
Savings and bank accounts
Andriy Kozyuk did not indicate the presence of savings, but noted that he has accounts in four Ukrainian banks. His wife declared $9,000 in cash and 143,000 UAH in one of the accounts, and also has four more accounts, the amounts of which are not disclosed.
Andriy Kozyuk’s career
Andriy Kozyuk began his career in the State Tax Service of Lviv Region in 2002, working in various positions, including management. In 2022, he moved to the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine. In May 2024, he was appointed acting head of the Lviv department of the BEB, and in July, he officially became the head of this unit.
