The Return of the Extraordinary Teens: What to Expect from ”The Guardians 2”

Green Light Films has released a teaser trailer for the sequel to the popular family fantasy film, “The Guardians of the Forest 2.” This film is a continuation of the adventure story about werewolves that has won the hearts of viewers in different countries.

In the new part, the plot again delves into the lives of students at Clearwater High, where learning magic becomes a real test. The main character, a young werewolf, faces a difficult choice: he is offered the opportunity to reunite with his cougar family, but for this, he must give false testimony. At the same time, a danger looms over the school, and the decisive word belongs to him.

“The Guardians of the Forest 2” promises a fascinating plot, bright special effects, and an emotional story about loyalty, friendship, and the struggle for truth. The film successfully combines elements of fantasy, adventure, and intense feelings, capturing the attention of teenagers, families, and all fans of modern fiction.

This is the second part of the film adaptation of the popular young adult novel series by Katya Brandis, which has received international recognition—her books have been translated into 22 languages, and more than 2.4 million copies have been sold in Germany alone. The first book was published in 2016, and the series includes a total of 27 novels with familiar characters and themes.

Three films are planned to be made. The first combines the events of the first two books in the series.

The director of “The Guardians of the Forest 2” was Sven Unterwaldt Jr., who is known for his German projects for a youth audience, such as “School for Magical Animals 3: The Mystery of the Forest” (2024), “Little Witches” (2020), and “Help, I Shrunk My Teacher!” (2015). His films are distinguished by warmth, humor, and exciting adventures.

“The Guardians 2” will be released in Ukrainian cinemas in the winter of 2026.

It should also be noted that Hollywood actor and director George Clooney is working on a spy series in which Tangier, a region in Africa, has replaced Ukraine. Social networks have already reacted to this with great interest. The streets of Moroccan Tangier were decorated with blue and yellow flags; thus, Clooney transferred elements of Ukraine to Africa.
