The Ministry of Defense spoke about the changes in “Reserve+”: what new things to expect
An important new feature will soon appear in the “Reserve+” application, allowing parents of children with disabilities, regardless of their age, to apply for a deferment from mobilization online. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the opportunity to test this option is available now.
To become one of the first to take advantage of the new features, you need to fill out a questionnaire at a special link. The right to apply for a deferment is granted to:
- parents of children with disabilities under 18 years of age;
- parents of adult children with disabilities.
The mechanism of the online deferment is simple: the user submits a request through the “Reserve+” application, and the system automatically checks the presence of grounds for a deferment using state register data. If the conditions are confirmed, the deferment is granted, and the information is recorded in the electronic military ticket.
According to representatives of the Ministry of Defense, this procedure is fully automated and takes only a few hours. There is no need to collect documents or visit territorial recruitment centers.
It is worth noting that the “Reserve+” application now offers the possibility of applying for a deferment for people with disabilities, students and postgraduates, parents of three or more children born in marriage, military families with children, spouses of people with disabilities, as well as for those who are temporarily unfit for service or work in institutions of higher and professional education.
