25-year-old physical education teacher suspected of beating student
In Mogilev-Podilskyi, in Vinnytsia Oblast, an unpleasant incident occurred – a 25-year-old physical education teacher hit a student with a stick during a lesson. This incident occurred on September 19, and information about it was made public by the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the investigation, the student tried to escape from the blows, but could not avoid injuries. As a result of the teacher’s actions, the student received physical pain.
On September 23, the head of the Mogilev-Podilskyi District Prosecutor’s Office signed a document of suspicion against this teacher. His actions were qualified in accordance with Part 1 of Article 126 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for intentional infliction of blows that led to physical pain.
Currently, investigative actions are underway against the teacher, and law enforcement agencies are gathering all the details of the incident. The investigation is being conducted by investigators of the Mogilev-Podilskyi District Police Department under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office.
The prosecutor’s office noted that crimes against children are under exceptional control, and this issue is under the personal supervision of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. It was also emphasized that, according to the Constitution, a person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
