“Busification” and illegal mobilization: ways to protect
When conducting information activities, conflicts may arise between representatives of territorial recruitment centers (TCC) and conscripts. The main reasons for such situations are the detention of individuals who violate street rules.
Lawyers of the “vSudi” bar association note that detention is possible only in cases of violation of the law, and only police officers have the right to carry it out. Representatives of the TCC do not have the authority to use force or special means.
Recommendations when attempting to detain:
Contact law enforcement officers as soon as possible and call a lawyer.
Notify relatives or acquaintances who can contact your lawyer;
Avoid conflicts and aggressive actions to reduce the risks to yourself.
Experts also draw attention to the problem of ignoring documents confirming the right to a deferral. There are cases when TCC employees try to mobilize a person, even though there are appropriate legal grounds.
What to do if your postponement is ignored:
Evaluate your documents or seek help from a lawyer;
Consult with a lawyer about further actions.
Prepare all the necessary documents and send them to the CCC by mail with confirmation of receipt.
Usually, illegal actions of CCC representatives can be appealed if you record violations in time and properly prepare your documents.
