Failure to arrive at the CCC – what to expect next
Failure of a conscript to appear at the territorial recruitment center entails an administrative offense punishable by a fine.
According to lawyer Yuriy Ayvazyan, conscripts are obliged to visit the territorial recruitment center at their request.
Notifications about the need to visit the CCC may be received, in particular, in the form of summonses.
Visits to the CCC may be necessary, for example, to clarify military registration data or undergo a military medical examination.
The lawyer explained what consequences await the body if the conscript does not appear after receiving the summons.
“In such a situation, administrative liability is provided for in accordance with Article 210-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. The fine varies from 17 thousand to 25,500 hryvnias,” the lawyer noted.
It should also be noted that the fine may increase over time, and the citizen may be put on the wanted list, and additional measures may be taken.
In Ukraine, there are categories of military conscripts who have the right to obtain a deferment from mobilization, but this right may be revoked in some instances.
