86-year-old Anatoly Kashpirovsky, who gained fame as a Soviet psychotherapist and television “hypnotist”, was brought to one of the clinics in Moscow due to his deteriorating health. According to information coming from the Russian media, his problems related to oncology have worsened, and he is undergoing a course of radiation therapy. According to some reports, his condition is so bad that he is unable to communicate.

However, the director of Kashpirovsky denied the facts of the rapid hospitalization, claiming that the “psychic” has neither oncological diseases nor even cold symptoms. According to him, Kashpirovsky is actively preparing for a new live broadcast on social networks, leaving his health in question.

It is known that recently Kashpirovsky has been living in Moscow, where he periodically undergoes treatment. Despite his age, he continues to promote his methods of remote “treatment” and conducts online sessions.

Anatoly Kashpirovsky was born on August 11, 1939, in the Ukrainian village of Stavnytsia. After graduating from Vinnytsia Medical Institute in 1962, he worked for over 20 years in a psychiatric hospital, where he began to practice hypnosis and suggestion techniques.

In the 1980s, he gained widespread popularity through his television “health sessions,” which drew millions of viewers. He was called a “hypnotist” and a “healer”, but his methods were also criticized for possible quackery.

In the 1990s, Kashpirovsky tried his hand at politics, becoming a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation for the Liberal Democratic Party, but did not remain in politics for long.
