Olya Polyakova’s daughter Masha shared her plans not to return to Ukraine

Masha Polyakova, the eldest daughter of Ukrainian singer Oli Polyakova, is currently studying at Berklee College in the United States, one of the most prestigious music schools. In her interview, she shared that she has no intention of returning to Ukraine for permanent residence.

Masha, who explores the world of music and blogging, noted that in the States, she receives a high-quality education and has access to modern studios and technologies that are not available in Ukrainian educational institutions.

“The education here is much better. Even if my career in America does not work out, I will still gain professionalism that is not available in Ukraine. We have practically no technical base, so I have to do a lot of things on my own,” she explained.

Although Masha highly values the Ukrainian music school, she has ambitions that go beyond classical education. She does not feel like an American, so she does not rule out moving to Europe in the future. But for now, her goal is to complete her studies and develop her career in the United States.

“I can’t say that I am an “American” person. First, I want to graduate from university, build a career, and then, perhaps, move to Europe. I dream of working all over the world,” Masha shared.

She also admitted that she misses her native places in Ukraine: “I really miss my apartment, dacha, and shops. These are my favorite places…”.
