Nighttime cold snaps and frosts: which territories of Ukraine are expecting a cold snap

According to the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, frosts are predicted in the western regions of Ukraine on the night of October 20 and 21. This phenomenon has a level II of danger, which corresponds to the orange scale.

Forecasters inform that starting Monday night, the air temperature in the western regions will drop to 0-4°C. Dangerous weather conditions, which belong to the level II of danger, indicate the possibility of night frosts.

On the night of October 18, the temperature throughout Ukraine will fluctuate from 4°C to 16°C, and during the day a temperature increase is expected, although many regions will experience rain. Meteorologist Natalka Didenko notes that starting from October 19, a sharp cooling is expected for most of Ukraine, which will continue on October 20, significantly increasing the risk of nights with frosts.

Residents of western regions are advised to take care of plant protection and home insulation in advance to avoid potential damage from low temperatures.
