IDPs can now find jobs and housing through a single platform

Ukraine has launched an updated digital platform “Shelter. Work”, designed to simplify the employment of internally displaced persons in new communities. This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity’s press service.

The new service not only helps find a job but also offers employers’ housing options. In addition, programs for retraining and training are available. The use of artificial intelligence tools helps select vacancies optimally.

Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity Denys Ulyutin noted that this project meets modern state approaches. Thanks to the platform, people with a stable place of residence and the opportunity to find a job can feel part of the local community, pay taxes, and raise children.

The service addresses the basic needs of displaced persons, integrating housing searches and vacancy listings with retraining. Active state-business cooperation is envisaged to improve adaptation conditions.

The Shelter platform was launched at the beginning of the full-scale war and has already helped over a million Ukrainians find temporary housing. It is now operating in a new format with expanded features aimed at comprehensive support for internally displaced persons.
