George Clooney expressed admiration for the Louvre robbers and announced a new film in the ‘Ocean’s Trilogy’ franchise

George Clooney recently confirmed his return to the cult franchise—the team is working on a new film in the “Ocean’s Trilogy”. He shared that the script is already ready, and filming is planned for next year.

“The team is ready to work. Now it’s just a matter of agreeing on schedules, and we will start next year,” Clooney said.

The actor also expressed hope that his former colleagues, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, and Julia Roberts, may join the project.

During the interview, Clooney commented on the recent robbery at the Louvre, which was compared to the events of “Ocean’s”.

“It looked amazing! Of course, it was scary, but as an actor playing a robber, I felt proud of these guys. It’s so wild to watch your robbery being discussed on the news. Just like in “Oceans”! And in broad daylight! Now we have to shoot in a way that matches that level,” the actor joked.

At the same time, Clooney is preparing for the premiere of his new film “Jay Kelly”, which also stars Adam Sandler. The premiere of the tape is scheduled for November.
