Ukrainian blogger Max Klymenko wins TikTok Awards in the UK

Max Klymenko, a Ukrainian blogger, won the TikTok Awards in the UK and Ireland category. The platform’s users themselves determined the winners through voting.

He has over 8.5 million subscribers, and his most popular show is “Career Ladder.” In his shows, Klymenko sets up a regular ladder on the street, with himself standing at one end and a passerby at the other. In two minutes, the blogger tries to find out about a stranger’s occupation by asking them questions.

Klymenko moved to the UK 14 years ago. He says he started making videos when he was struggling to find a job.

“I was experiencing a lot of anxiety and stress while looking for a job, so I started making videos to help people find out about vacancies,” he says.

After winning the award, the blogger noted the importance of his work being recognized by the audience:

“Everything you see in the feed requires significant effort and hours of work,” he emphasized.
