Power outage schedules for November 21: what are the expectations for Kyiv and the region
Electricity supply restrictions are introduced in most regions of Ukraine. The reason for these measures was damage to the power system caused by enemy attacks.
On November 21, restrictions on electricity supply are foreseen in Ukraine due to large-scale missile and drone strikes on energy infrastructure facilities.
As reported by “Ukrenergo”, previously active emergency shutdowns in some regions have been canceled, but consumers are still subject to hourly power cuts.
According to the provided data, hourly power outage schedules will be introduced on November 21, effective from 00:00 to 23:59. The volume of restrictions is expected to range from 2.5 to 4 turns.
In addition to household consumers, restrictions will also affect the industry. Capacity limitation schedules have been introduced for enterprises and will be in effect throughout the day.
The DTEK company has already published the shutdown schedules for Kyiv and the Kyiv region for November 21. In the event of changes, operational information will be posted on the company’s official Telegram channel.
Energy experts note that schedules may vary depending on the situation in the energy system, so residents are advised to follow updates on the websites of local and regional energy companies.
It is also reported that Zaporizhzhia NPP has restored power line connectivity, which is critical to nuclear safety. However, the situation remains complicated due to the war; some reactors are operating at reduced power after power grids were shelled.
