Photographer Vlada Liberova, 9 months pregnant, will give a tour of Kyiv

Photographers Konstantin and Vlada Liberov invite Kyiv residents to an author’s tour of the exhibition “To the Light, which is held at the M17 Center for Contemporary Art. Visitors can get acquainted with unusual stories from the war that are often overlooked.

The exhibition “To the Light” was launched at the M17 Center for Contemporary Art in Kyiv, which was implemented in collaboration with DTEK and Ukrainian photographers Konstantin and Vlada Liberov. The project highlights the daily work of people who restore electricity supply in the most challenging circumstances.

The main innovation of the exhibition is not only photographs, but also the opportunity to hear the real stories behind each frame, directly from the authors. The Liberovs will conduct tours themselves, sharing experiences that are not recorded in the pictures, but have left a mark on their hearts.

The exhibition “To the Light” offers a look at the war through the lens of those who documented it from the very beginning. Konstantin and Vlada Liberov demonstrate not only the destruction, but also the strength, courage, and resilience of Ukrainians who, despite the challenges, continue to fight for their homes.

The photographs show energy sector workers restoring power grids after attacks, military personnel defending the country, and ordinary people supporting others. Each photo has its own unique story.

“Taking a tour with famous Ukrainian photographers is a real opportunity!”, DTEK noted.

The first tour will take place on Saturday, November 29, and all seats are already sold out. Due to high demand, the organizers have added another day: Sunday, November 30. From 11:00 to 12:00, anyone can join the author’s tour for free, but seating is limited.
