Kyiv will be without electricity for 17 hours: new outage schedules for December 11

On Thursday, December 11, residents of Kyiv and surrounding areas will face significant power outages. Energy experts warn that the capital will be without electricity for up to 17 hours a day, while in the region, the outages will last even longer.

New outage schedules are being introduced in Kyiv, which provide for long pauses in electricity supply lasting 7 hours each across several shifts. Thus, during the day, residents of the capital will be without electricity for a significant period.

The Kyiv region is facing a similar situation: energy experts have announced additional periods when power will be unavailable. Residents are advised to prepare for extended outages and organize their affairs in accordance with the new schedules.

In the event of changes in the power grid load, Kyiv residents will be promptly informed. Experts noted that these restrictions are being introduced to maintain the stable operation of the power system, which recent missile and drone attacks have seriously damaged.

It is noted that mass power outages will continue in Ukraine until the end of the week, potentially leaving consumers without electricity for long periods.
