December 23 is the day of supporting the army through communication
On December 23, Ukraine celebrates the professional holiday of service members of operational control, who play an essential role in ensuring communication and managing units of the Armed Forces. These specialists are directly responsible for the accuracy of coordination and speed of response, which is critically important during the execution of combat missions.
This day annually honors military personnel who monitor and control operational processes at all levels, from battalions to strategic offices. Their work enables the command to quickly obtain the information needed for decision-making, including regrouping forces or evacuating, and to execute orders.
Although operational control troops are not on the front lines, their activities are an invisible but essential part of the entire military process. On this day, congratulatory events, awards, as well as trainings and briefings to improve the operation of management systems are traditionally held.
What can be done on this day?
– To express gratitude to the military personnel who serve in the headquarters and deal with logistics.
– Join fundraising efforts to purchase communications equipment and support Army IT initiatives.
– Familiarize yourself with the structure of the Armed Forces and learn more about the functioning of the modern army.
This day is a symbol of intelligence, analytics, and precision—those who “see” the battlefield through data and technology.
