Poland deported almost 180 foreigners, including Ukrainians, in a week
Polish law enforcement officers have stepped up surveillance of migration regulations. In one week, almost two hundred foreigners left the country, both on their own and as a result of forced deportations.
According to the Polish Border Guard, about 180 foreigners left Poland from December 15 to 21. The information was made public on December 22.
Some migrants chose to return voluntarily, including 27 Belarusians, 21 Moldovans, and 19 Georgians. In such cases, restrictions on migration are imposed without resorting to harsh measures.
At the same time, a significant part of the foreigners was forcibly deported. Most of them were Ukrainians – 24 people, as well as 16 citizens of Georgia and 5 Colombians. According to border guards, these people had serious legal problems.
Reasons for deportation include convictions for theft, illegal possession of narcotics, violence, traffic violations, and participation in unlawful border crossing.
The Border Guard emphasizes that these actions are part of the state’s systematic policy to control migration and ensure the safety of citizens.
At the same time, the voluntary return procedure remains a priority, as it helps reduce the burden on Poland’s administrative and law enforcement authorities.
