PFU will carry out inspections in households: grounds for canceling the subsidy

Citizens of Ukraine who receive housing subsidies or utility benefits should be aware of potential inspections of their living conditions. These measures aim to verify compliance with the requirements for receiving state financial support.

According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, such inspections are carried out in cases specified by law and include an inspection of the housing and living conditions of persons receiving assistance.

They may be initiated if necessary to clarify or confirm the information specified in the application or declaration. For example, an inspection may occur in the following situations:

After the visit, an inspection report is drawn up, which records all circumstances that may affect the right to receive assistance.

These inspections apply not only to persons receiving housing subsidies and benefits, but also to other types of social support.

In particular, these include:

monthly payments for persons caring for persons with disabilities of groups I or II due to mental illness;

state assistance to single mothers and low-income families, in particular, to confirm that the housing is not rented out.
In the event of violations or the provision of false information, the payment of a subsidy or other assistance may be suspended or canceled. Such actions are part of the control over the targeted use of budget funds and the prevention of abuse in the field of social payments in 2026.

It is also worth remembering the details that may lead to the cancellation of the subsidy, and avoiding mistakes in this matter.
