It is important to note that alcohol has a diuretic effect, which contributes to the risk of dehydration, even if the drink seems “mild”.

In the long term, regular alcohol consumption increases the likelihood of developing hypertension, stroke, cardiovascular disease, and some types of cancer. The more often a person drinks alcohol, the greater the risks. Experts emphasize that there is no safe dose of alcohol, and all potential benefits can be obtained from non-alcoholic alternatives.
