In Kyiv, a drug dealer was sentenced to 9 years and 6 months in prison for selling PVP and methamphetamine

In Kyiv, a court sentenced a man who was involved in the circulation of psychotropic substances.

According to the case materials, a 44-year-old resident of the capital illegally purchased dangerous psychotropic substances PVP and methamphetamine, which he stored with the intention of further sale. This was reported by representatives of the metropolitan prosecutor’s office.

To sell narcotics, the criminal pre-packaged psychotropic substances into retail doses. During the detention, law enforcement officers seized part of the goods ready for sale, and also found other prohibited substances at his place of residence.

During the trial, it was established that the total mass of the seized psychotropic substances exceeded 114 grams, which is classified as an extensive circulation. As a result of the session of the Desnyanskyi District Court, the man was found guilty and sentenced to 9 years and 6 months of imprisonment, with his property confiscated.

At the moment, the convicted person remains in custody.

Also, recently, a woman was detained in the capital for using taxi services to deliver drugs. She faces up to 12 years in prison, with property confiscation.
