How to apply for a pension online

Now, applying for a pension has become easier: no queues or trips – everything can be done remotely.

According to the Pension Fund, Ukrainians can apply for a pension online and monitor the process in their personal account.

Citizens who have reached retirement age and have sufficient insurance experience can submit applications in electronic format.

“You no longer need to participate in person, provided you have an electronic signature,” the Pension Fund noted.

This step greatly simplifies the procedure for those who are unable or unwilling to visit a fund branch.

To get started, go to the Pension Fund website and log in to your personal account using a qualified electronic signature. In the menu, you need to select the “Regarding pension provision” section, and then “Application for pension assignment”. The system will provide an electronic form that you must complete.

The applicant has the opportunity to choose the type of pension – by age, disability, or in connection with the loss of a breadwinner. It is also necessary to download electronic copies of documents in advance, as they are better prepared.

“The quality of scans is very important, because they influence the decision-making process,” the Pension Fund emphasized.

After filling it out, you must check all the data again, sign the application with an electronic signature, and send it for consideration. The submission process is complete, and you can monitor the status of your application in the “My Applications” section to see where it is.
