The cold is deepening: weather forecast in Ukraine for the weekend

On Saturday, January 31, cloudy weather with light wet snow is expected in Ukraine.

According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, no precipitation is expected in the western, northern regions, and the Vinnytsia region. At night, the air temperature will fluctuate from 12 to 17°C, and during the day, 9-14°C is expected. In Transcarpathia, the daytime temperature will range from 2 °C to 3 °C.

Snow is possible in other territories of Ukraine and in the southeastern regions, with rain and wet snow. Ice and wet snow are observed in most central regions and in the Kharkiv region; the temperature in these regions will be 5-10°C; in the Azov Sea and Luhansk regions, 3-2°C; and on the Crimean peninsula, 1-6°C.

There are possible icy patches on the country’s roads. The wind will blow from the northeast and north at 7-12 m/s, with gusts of 15-20 m/s possible in the northeastern regions.
