Who is entitled to triple retirement experience?

In Ukraine, when retiring, citizens are calculated on the length of service, which depends on the actual period of work. However, some categories of persons are entitled to a pension triple the length of service, which positively affects the size of the pension, UNIAN reports.

According to information from the assistant lawyer Iryna Zakvatskaya, two main categories of persons are entitled to triple the length of service:

The first is deported persons who worked in special settlements. In this case, the length of service is calculated in multiples of three from the moment of deportation until the abolition of the special settlements regime.
The second category is military personnel who participated in measures aimed at the defense of Ukraine, the protection of the population and state interests during martial law, and the aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of the country.
Conditions for accrual

To receive triple the length of service, the following conditions must be met:

belong to one of the specified categories;

have supporting documents certifying the status and periods of work or service;
Submit the relevant documents to the Pension Fund bodies.
Documents for confirmation

For military personnel, it is necessary to provide:

military ID;
certificates from the CCC and SP, military units;
documents from the archive and military medical institutions;
certificate of a participant in hostilities;
extracts from orders, combat reports, action logs;
documents confirming the performance of reconnaissance missions;
information from watch logs and flight sheets.
For deported persons, it is necessary to provide:

workbook with notes on work in a special settlement (if any);
a document confirming the status of the deportee;
An archival certificate of the period of work in a special settlement.
How to issue a triple length of service

The insurance length of service is determined by the territorial bodies of the Pension Fund based on personalized accounting data. For periods before the introduction of the system, the length of service is confirmed by documents in accordance with current legislation.

Zkvatska notes that “The Pension Fund does not have access to specific working conditions, so to obtain confirmation, you must contact the territorial body of the Pension Fund at your place of residence or via an electronic account.”

What to do if triple seniority has not been accrued

If the right to triple seniority has not been taken into account, citizens can follow the following procedure:

Collect all necessary documents and certificates.

Contact the Pension Fund to obtain an official decision.

In case of refusal, file a lawsuit in court to protect their rights.
Triple seniority significantly increases the pension coefficient, which is especially important for deportees and military personnel who served in the country’s defense.
