The People’s Deputy explained the need for Busification: there is no way to do without the use of force
In Ukraine, the issue of mobilization remains very relevant, and the so-called “busification” will not disappear in the near future.
Deputy Ruslan Gorbenko directly points to the shortage of personnel and systemic errors by the authorities, which only aggravate the situation.
According to him, the state approached the mobilization processes unsystematically and delayed the adoption of unpopular decisions. According to estimates, the mobilization reserve lasted only a year and a half. The People’s Deputy considers the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, which allowed young men aged 18–22 to go abroad, to be a separate loss, which, in his opinion, significantly reduces the potential of the reserve.
“We must strategically prepare for a long war if we want peace, but we did not approach mobilization comprehensively and made many mistakes,” Gorbenko emphasizes.
As the deputy notes, changes in this area should begin with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, and gradually extend to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the General Staff, and the Ministry of Defense.
Discussing “busification,” he calls for no illusions. This, in his opinion, is one of the means of replenishing mobilization resources, and he notes that the matter resembles detention for violating the law.
“When a person violates the law, they are detained. How exactly they will be delivered to the CCC or the police is a secondary issue,” he explains.
Despite this, Gorbenko admits that the problem should not be solved solely by force. Specialists, clearly defined rules, and a thoughtful approach, including motivational mechanisms, are needed. He is convinced that this issue is already within the purview of President Volodymyr Zelensky, but without systemic solutions, tension in society will only grow.
Earlier, it was said that “busification” would be eliminated. In particular, the CCC may be responsible for force mobilization, and ways to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine without the CCC’s intervention were also proposed, outlined in step-by-step instructions.
