Ukrenergo clarified which areas will experience power outages on February 26 and what schedules will be in effect
The national energy company Ukrenergo announced the introduction of power outage schedules on February 26. This decision was made due to damage to energy infrastructure facilities as a result of missile and drone attacks by Russian troops.
The company’s statement noted that the mass outage schedules will not apply to all regions, but will cover most regions of Ukraine. On February 26, hourly outages will continue in most parts of the country, and power restrictions will also be introduced for industrial consumers.
It was emphasized that these restrictions were necessary due to the negative consequences of attacks on energy infrastructure. The situation in the energy system remains dynamic, so residents of the country are urged to check the official websites of their regional energy companies for information on outage times and volumes. Energy experts urge consumers to follow updates and be understanding of temporary difficulties with the electricity supply.
