Klitschko met with the President of the German Bundestag, expressing gratitude for Kyiv’s support in the energy crisis and for the Patriot missile systems
Vitaliy Klitschko shared important information on his Telegram channel. He spoke about his meeting with the President of the German Bundestag, Julia Kloeckner, during her visit to Kyiv, where he expressed gratitude for the support and assistance that Ukraine receives from partners. In particular, Klitschko emphasized the importance of the recently provided by Germany missiles for the Patriot system, which are critical for the work of the Ukrainian armed forces of air defense in the face of Russian aggression.
He also emphasized the need for consolidated and decisive support from international partners in order to stop further aggression from the Kremlin. Stressing the seriousness of the situation, Klitschko drew attention to the fact that Europe must realize the reality of the threat emanating from Putin.
Recall that last winter, in the context of an energy crisis due to massive shelling of critical infrastructure, Germany provided Kyiv with assistance, including powerful generators, two mini-CHPs, thousands of gas stoves, cylinders, heating pads and other equipment. In addition, on March 10, Ukraine received PAC-3 missiles from Germany for the Patriot air defense system, which was the result of agreed deliveries during the Ramstein format meeting.
