Правила, що запам'ятовуються з труднощами: Укразалізниця закликає батьків навчити дітей основам безпеки

Rules that are difficult to remember: Ukrazaliznytsia calls on parents to teach children the basics of safety

Spring has already become a reality: it has become warmer outside, and children are actively spending time outdoors. But do parents always know where and what their children are doing?

On the social network Threads, a user with the nickname mamochki_bc shared an alarming observation. She witnessed a dangerous situation when several children were playing on the railway tracks, not paying attention to the approaching train. The woman emphasized that such entertainment can end in tragedy.

“Dear parents, spring is a time when children are increasingly playing on the streets. But do you know where and how your children spend their time? Today I watched children standing on the tracks while a train was passing. This is really scary, because such games can lead to major tragedies,” the woman wrote.

In turn, representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia responded to this situation. They urged parents to talk to their children about safety rules and explain that the train cannot stop instantly.

In addition, they invite children who are interested in the railway to study in those cities where the children’s railway operates.

“Dear parents! Explain to your children that the braking distance of a train can reach up to 1.5 km. The train will not stop instantly. Compliance with safety rules in the railway area ensures their safety! If you are interested in the railway, enroll your children in our courses – it is interesting and safe here,” Ukrzaliznytsia noted.
