Those who are engaged in spinning try to finish what is planned by the holiday, believing that later the quality of the yarn may deteriorate. These superstitions arose in times when the harvest was the basis of people’s lives.
This day is also a time when it is recommended to let go of resentments and negative thoughts, tuning yourself to the positive. There is a farmer’s belief: the evening before, you should put a bucket of water outside, and in the morning drink this water to get rid of illnesses.
