Slava Kaminska explained the reasons for the breakup with Edgar Kaminsky

Slava Kaminskaya, a singer and former member of the band NEANGELI, has shared the details of her divorce from plastic surgeon Edgar Kaminsky, with whom she was married for five years until 2019.

The artist explained that the main reason for their breakup was a conflict of ambitions. She noted that there was no necessary balance between the partners, as both were actively developing their careers.

Slava emphasized that both had strong egos, which led to tension in the relationship. She recalled that similar problems arose during her time in the duo NEANGELI. “There was a lot of ego. Both of them. Two stars per square meter is a lot. It’s similar to what I experienced with Vika,” she said, referring to her former colleague Victoria Smeyukha.

The singer added that the growth of her ex-husband’s popularity only increased the tension in the marriage. According to her, at some point their life became “tight”.

In addition, the couple had different life priorities: for Slava, family was important, while Edgar was more focused on his career. She spoke about this in an interview with journalist Natalia Vlashchenko.

Despite the divorce, the singer noted that she does not regret the past experience. She was able to maintain a normal relationship with her ex-husband for the sake of the children. “Honestly, I do not regret it. I see how he communicates with the children, and that is enough for me. We adequately discuss issues related to our children. I am grateful that we have children from great love. He lives in Italy, and clients often come to him. It seems to me that business in Ukraine brings more money than in Europe, where taxes are high,” the artist said.

Slava Kaminska also noted that during the war, Edgar remains in Italy, continuing to work. He receives clients, although income may be lower due to high taxes.

The singer decided to translate her song “Yours” into Ukrainian and turned to fans for help in the comments. She emphasized the importance of joining forces to create a Ukrainian version of the song.
